Dr. Tan Peiyin began her professional journey after graduating from Melaka Manipal Medical College. Her career commenced with significant service in the government sector in Sabah, where she dedicated almost three years to providing essential dental care. During this formative period, she was deeply involved in numerous community and outreach programs, gaining invaluable experience in diverse public health settings. It was also at this time that Dr. Tan achieved a notable academic milestone, earning her membership in the prestigious Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh (MFDS RCS (Edin)).

In 2022, Dr. Tan furthered her expertise by successfully completing a rigorous, two-year Progressive Orthodontic Seminar training program, a certification accredited by the International College of Continuing Dental Education (ICCDE). This advanced training has equipped her with modern techniques in tooth alignment and bite correction.

Fundamentally, Dr. Tan is a strong advocate for gentle dentistry, operating on the principle that every patient deserves a comfortable, anxiety-free, and pain-minimized dental experience. She combines patience with clear communication to ensure treatments are as stress-free as possible. Furthermore, she holds a special interest in children’s dentistry. Dr. Tan believes that a positive and trusting dentist-patient relationship should be cultivated from a young age. By creating a fun, non-threatening environment, she aims to build a child’s confidence, not just in their dental visits but in the health and appearance of their own smile, establishing a foundation for lifelong oral wellness.
